As far as we know, Fuel Finder UK is the first petrol app putting live petrol and diesel prices into both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with station screens that hand off to in-car navigation.

Alongside my own apps, I have been helping an up-and-coming local car business compete in a highly competitive car market by applying practical software, cleaner data flows and automation. The work pairs a sharper public website with stock management tools, inbound market feeds and outbound sales-ad feeds that reduce avoidable third-party cost while improving visibility.
Applied efficiency where it matters: cleaner stock workflows, less duplicated admin and fewer paid handoffs between tools.

The iOS and Android apps ask a Valhalla-backed routing service for up to three real driving routes, then show live fuel stations inside a one-mile corridor either side of the selected route. If the route server is unavailable, the app falls back to a straight-line corridor.

I like the part where a messy idea becomes a useful thing.
I'm a developer based in Essex, UK with a habit of turning practical problems into finished tools. Fuel Finder UK started from a simple belief: official fuel price data should be in everyone's pocket, not buried in a spreadsheet.
My day job is quantitative analysis at a FTSE 100 financial firm, so data at scale is familiar territory. Outside work, I build mobile apps, automation, data converters and the odd car-adjacent experiment.
Getting live fuel prices onto car dashboards has been one of the more demanding solo projects I have taken on. Fuel Finder UK now spans phones, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, helping drivers compare prices and navigate from the car display.
